Renowned photographer Peter Sutherland shot and edited this mini-documentary centered around Vans OTW Advocate Eric Elms' "Wish You Were Here" exhibition for OffTheWall.TV. Sutherland followed Elms to Japan as he ventured through Tokyo and showcased his new works at Common Gallery this fall. Aside from elaborating on his means of expression, Elms also spoke candidly about his interest in the zine format, history of Kilroy, Japanese culture and more. Tokyo-based media outlet DEFRAG caught up with Vans OTW Advocate Eric Elms for his "WISH YOU WERE HERE" exhibition. The San Diego-raised turned New York-based artist elaborates on his background, designs, art influences and his fascination with Kilroy.
Kilroy can be spotted throughout the video as he was a key part in Elms' latest show. "WISH YOU WERE HERE" wrapped up last month at COMMON Gallery in Tokyo but you can check it out in this video interview at DEFRAG.
