John Baldessari is turning 81 years old this year in June and coincidentally or maybe not ...  LACMA is honoring Baldessari and Clint Eastwood in their first annual"Art + Film Gala" event. To celebrate the event LACMA commissioned this little film about "the epic life of a world-class artist jammed into six minutes" narrated by Tom Waits himself just because Baldessari said  "he has a great voice".  Baldessari's latest art show is up now at LA's Margo Leavin Gallery.
