Sneaker Pimps LA

The Sneaker Pimps kicked off the US leg of their tour this past Saturday at The Avalon in Hollywood, California. The Pimps showcased their 1500-plus collection of kicks for sneakerheads to enjoy and collectors got in on the action as well, selling their rare pairs for cash. The night was emceed by rapper/producer Blake Carrington and featured performances by Thurz, Rich Hil, Dean's List and The Game. Check out the whole night after the jump!

There was lots of Vans spotting at SP: customized Classics, waffle sole-inspired and rare releases throughout the event.
Spotted: Mister Cartoon's Simspons-inspired Classic Slip-On was part of the exhibit.
Spotted: Social Distortion x Vans SK8-Hi was part of the exhibit as well.
Spotted: Taking it waaaay back with the No Doubt x Vans Old Skool.

Spotted: Bringing it back to modern day with a pair of Taka Derby TH LXs from the Vault line.

This seller was slinging his Supreme x Vans collab at his spot.

Sneaker pimpin': Dude was rocking the Proper x Vans Native American LX...very rare release. Props on this one!
Sneakerpedia staff was also on hand to help sneakerheads spotlight their collections and network with each others 'heads.
Blake Carrington was the master of ceremonies for the night. He played dual roles though - narrating the action and jumping on the mic as a rapper as well.
Thurz pumped out a few tracks from L.A. Riots.
Rich Hil, Tommy Hilfiger's son, took the stage at The Avalon.
The Game headlined the event and killed it with a freestyle set to finish off the night!
