Classic Novel Covers Redone in Tattoo & Illustration Style

Penguin Ink commemorates their 75th anniversary in literature by having some of their classic novel covers redesigned by various tattoo and illustration artists. Penguin handpicked tattooists Bert Krak, Chris Garver, Pepa Heller, Duke Riley and Chris Conn as well as illustrator Tara McPherson for this redo. Krak re-imagined Martin Amis's "Money", Garver updated Ian Fleming's "From Russia with Love" (above), Heller provided her take on Keri Hulme's "The Bone People", Riley remixed David Foster Wallace's "The Broom of the System", Conn took on J.M. Coetzee's "Waiting for the Barbarians", and McPherson modernized Helen Fielding's "Bridgette Jones's Diary". All of the special edition novels are now available at Penguin Ink's online shop.
