"Social Media" The Exhibit

Social media has changed the way humans interact with one another. With online communities and smartphone applications making staying in touch easier, people rely on their devices to get them through their day. Artist David Byrne has created fake apps for the upcoming show, "Social Media" at Pace Gallery, to comment on society's digital dependency. The exhibit will also feature work from Christopher Baker, Aram Bartholl, Jonathan Harris, Robert Heinecken, Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher, Sep Kamvar and Penelope Umbrico, check it out if you're in the New York area between September 16 to October 15.
